A product name cannot settle the legal question
This guide does not certify BPC-157 as approved, unrestricted or lawful for every purchase or use in India. Catalogue availability, an overseas study and a research-use-only label are different facts.
For a binding decision, obtain advice for the exact material, supplier, recipient, intended activity and transaction. This website does not provide a legal opinion or permission for human use.
Use official records, not seller assurances
CDSCO publishes the Drugs and Cosmetics framework and related rules. Check current official records and applicable amendments rather than relying on a screenshot or an undated statement that a compound is legal worldwide.
Ask your qualified regulatory adviser which requirements apply to the actual domestic procurement or import. Do not assume that a laboratory label removes licensing, import or end-use obligations.
Build a traceable procurement file
Keep the material identity, batch documentation, invoice, supplier details and intended laboratory purpose together. Where an approval or licence is relevant, verify its scope and holder independently.
A certificate of analysis addresses reported sample measurements; it does not establish legal approval. Likewise, a trial registration is a record of research, not market authorisation for a catalogue vial.
